My name is Brandon Clements and here is a brief version of my story.  On December 30 2011 at approximately 1:45am I made a bad decision and drove while intoxicated and experienced a near fatal drinking and driving accident on my way home from a bar.  I was alone and nobody else was involved in the accident.  I was taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center where three surgeries were performed, two on my intestines and one on my back.  I had internal bleeding and injuries to my spine which left me paralyzed from the waist down and a brachial plexus injury caused paralysis in my left arm.  I was in ICU and on life support for a week and remained in the hospital for about six weeks then was transferred to Loma Linda University for a month of rehab.  The doctors said being in such great physical shape may have saved my life but I know it was God.  I'm really hoping to tell my story and save others from making the same mistake as I did.  So many people I know have gotten DUI's even after my accident.  I really believe my story will have an impact on people especially with my before and after photos.  I was told there is no chance I would be able to walk again but I now know that isn't true.  I started doing research and found out about Stem Cell Treatment.  Stem Cell (cellular building blocks) Treatment has achieved positive results with a wide variety of illnesses, conditions and injuries.  Spinal Cord Injuries, Muscular Dystrophy, Parkinson's and Fibromyalgia are just naming a few.  Unfortunately it is not covered by insurance and is very expensive.  With your donations I can receive this treatment and recover to become the big, strong gentle giant many of you knew before my accident.  Thank you for your time and contributions.

GOALS:  My main goal is to continue sharing my story and help others make the right decision so they won't have to learn the hard way.  Speak at high schools, colleges and even teach DUI classes.  I also want to motivate others with disabilities to keep pushing forward and never give up.
